The Balkans have gathered momentum in the last several years to become the sixth most-visited travel destination worldwide. However, I am sure there are myriads of people who have not put it on their travel radar yet. Therefore, if you happen to be in Sofia between October 17th and October 18th, I suggest you pay “Go2Balkans International Travel Forum and Exhibition” a visit to learn more about this fascinating region.
What is Go2Balkans?
The event is easily one of the largest of its kind in Bulgaria. It unites exhibitors from over 15 countries in an effort to present you the extremely diverse region of the Balkans, its abundance of delectable food, rich history, and drop-dead gorgeous nature.
The first day of the travel event will revolve around direct business contacts which have been set out in advance. A special presentation zone, as well as a business discussion zone, will give participants the chance to exchange ideas and connect.
The second day will be devoted to end clients and visitors who will have the opportunity to browse through а diverse set of tourist resources and the exclusive offers for vacations and holidays during the Winter 2016/2017 and Spring 2017 seasons. The holiday packages, offered during the exhibition, will be with whopping discounts.
On October 18th, several gourmet and folklore shows from different countries will definitely contribute to making your visit not only delicious but also memorable.
Why visit Go2Balkans?
During the travel exhibition Go2Balkans, you will be able to:
- Meet people from around the world – not limited only to the Balkans. Last year, some of the exhibitors were from the United Kingdom, Poland, Austria, France, Italy, Sweden, Pakistan, Jordan, Morocco, and India;
- Chat with bloggers from ASTOM. I am a member of the Association, too, so this means you will have the chance to meet me in person and see how awesome of a blogger (and {humble} person) I am.
- Encounter like-minded people, draw some travel inspiration from the exhibition stalls, and hopefully establish long-term business contacts.
- Receive any kind of information related to the region of the Balkans, ask questions, and plan your next trip to Montenegro, Albania, Croatia, or any other of the Balkan countries.
- Learn some tips on how to start your own blog and/or become a member of the growing family of ASTOM.
Make sure to stop by the website of Go2Balkans and their Facebook page to learn more about the forum, watch a video (only in Bulgarian), and follow the hashtag #go2balkans to stay updated.
Along with my fellow bloggers and colleagues, I will also be there. Come to our stand if you have questions or comments, or just want to get some insights on travelling.
