Why You Must Invest in Yourself

Stop working. Start Travelling. In an effort to achieve that, however, you must, first of all, start investing heavily in yourself. Why heavily, though? Because to invest in yourself does take a lot of effort, but it pays off immensely and in the end, you are going to rejoice cheerfully.

If You Don’t Invest in Yourself, There Won’t Be Any Other Person on Earth Who Will

NOONE ELSE WILL, I am telling you.

As harsh as it may sound, it’s the freaking truth here.

Do I need to slap you in the face so can you read it carefully again and start perceiving it?

If I don’t do it, life is going to anyway, so immediately embark upon taking action.

NOT next month,

NOT next week,

NOT tomorrow,

Commence now.

Commence with something small and then gradually apply thicker layers of knowledge and expertise, of muscles and resilience, of motivation and success.

Success is addictive, but in order keep the fire at least smouldering, you need to constantly add more motivating fuel, maintain the spark, and strengthen it.

Have you heard of people aiding others in achieving unremitting success?

YES, you have, but truth is, they have initially shown that blazing spark and they have triggered more in others.

See what’s happening there? You don’t need tonnes of efforts at the outset. Nevertheless, you need some. Show me you are worth the shot and I will shoot together with you. And our machine gun will aim better and it will reap much better and more succulent results.

When You Invest In Yourself, Others Invest in You, Too

I am a Travel and Lifestyle Blogger here on this blog, but I also define myself as a serial entrepreneur.

In the past, I had multitudes of ideas and I just shared them with people who said they were great. Sadly, I didn’t act upon any of these.

ONLY WHEN I commenced with acting upon them, ONLY THEN the things came to an aromatic fruition.

I know – it’s so simple.

But how many of you do it?

You wouldn’t have been ill-at-ease at this very moment and letter if you had already started, would you?

It’s not too late, though.

START! 1, 2, 3, GO!

Here’s something that will completely shatter your world, will bring you heaps of success, and will earn you amazing friends (and mountains of thrill and fun).

The Badass Brand Squad

Did you know LIVE Streaming and Social Media are the driving motors of marketing, innovation, and business development nowadays?

If you didn’t, go home and cry. When you are done, come back and listen.

Now that you are finished with your sobbing, here’s the deal.

The Badass Brand Squad is a miraculous group of entrepreneurs and business people, coming from all walks of life, united under the umbrella of helping each other incessantly and achieving an exponential growth.

It does sound like a chimeric miracle, doesn’t it?

Fortunately, it is not.

And there is one thing that’s even more wondrous – the Badass Brand Squad is open to new members, so don’t hesitate to sign up to the waiting list and start rocking together.

Svet Dimitrov is a proud member, too, and he is constantly surrounded by alluringly gorgeous ladies who are adept in spheres as diverse as brand marketing, online courses, diva mentoring, business coaching, and book writing, to name a few.

I have increased my social media presence massively for the past two months just by taking part in several live streaming and writing challenges.

And so should you.

Working Out Is of Utmost Importance for Growing and Landing Better Jobs

invest in yourself, svet dimitrov, bulgaria, working out, bars, vitosha mountaint
Look at me go on the bars in the mountains.

“Ripped muscles, lean body – cool, cool, he must have put a lot of effort in that!”

You are certainly right, my dear – constant everyday practice is the key to achieving that.

Working out has given me so much motivation and has continually fuelled my patience and resilience skills.

Even though I don’t have any hard evidence or scientifically-proven research in my powerful Bulgarian sleeves, I bet good-looking people land better jobs than lazy-as-f*ck whiners.

Another slap in the face did I just give you? Go out and bend the bars, run like Tarahumara, or do whatever, but don’t just sit and whine.

The CAPS LOCK is on purpose.

Just stay with me for a little while and start implementing the tricks.

Here Is a Personal Story to Get You Going

My first occupation was for the Bulgarian government. It was a decently paid job with almost 30 days of vacation.

Amazing, right?

Most people would stay there forever, but I did not find it challenging enough for my infinite potential and quit.

I admit that I did not have a well-crafted plan for my exciting future, but it was not a premature decision.

After I got out of the tangling arms of a 9-to-5 office occupation, I devoted my time to the things I really adored – working out, cooking, and relentlessly fuelling my unquenchable thirst for knowledge.

My friends were flabbergasted by the fact that I was doing much more unemployed than they were doing employed.

Because the large majority of the world population is LAZY and DOES NOT Invest in themselves.

I was doing exactly that.

Fortunately for you, there are immeasurable amounts of knowledge and research, lurking in the online galaxy, and you can easily enhance your expertise and invest in yourself.

Another slap? Are you a masochist?

Start the investment now, there’s no better time.

Yes, it’s challenging,

Yes, it’s hard.

Yes, it hurts.

It pays off tremendously.

If I hadn’t started investing in myself, you wouldn’t have been on my website at this very moment.

  2. Live Learn Venture (@LiveLearnVentur)

Yeah, I think it’s important to invest in yourself and your business in order to get the best results! I spent most of my evenings working on my blog + freelance biz while working full time for 2 years — and it’s helped me have better results now that I work on this biz full time!

It takes a lot of effort, but it’s so much worth it in the end! Good for you! Keep hustlin’ and let’s educate others!

I think for most people, they just don’t know how to start investing in themselves. What it means to do that or if they have an idea, how to go about working on it to make it come to fruition. Having groups to help and motivate and push are great for that though because so many people have just been told they can’t so many times, it’s amazing to have one person to say, “you can!”

    • Svet

I absolutely agree that most people have a slight idea, but they don’t see the big picture. And mentors help tremendously!

“You can” goes miles, especially when it’s said by the right person!

Wow, this filled with so much positivity and a great reminder to each and everyone of us. I like your spirit and your drive in writing this one. I’m truly learning at the same time motivated after reading your blog post. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts to us. I truly appreciate it. God bless and keep writing!

    • Svet

You are very welcome, LaiAriel! I really put my heart into writing this piece and in all others you can find in the motivation section! 🙂

I also appreciate your comment very much and God bless!

  5. Cori

An interesting take. I prefer to invest in myself without being unemployed, but it certainly sounds like things worked out for you.

  6. Sandy N Vyjay

You are right. It all boils down to thinking about oneself and investing in oneself. No one else cares a damn! The gap between success and failure is always the one between action and inaction. The best of ideas come to nought if they are not implemented and see the light of day.

    • Svet

Yes, yes! When we finally realise that no one else gives a damn about us, only then we shall start taking stuff more seriously. And we don’t need too much an effort – just something to keep the momentum going 🙂 After that, it is easier!

  7. Cat

I couldn’t agree more with what you said “If you don’t invest in yourself, no other person on earth will!” Thanks for recommending the group – being surrounded by a like-minded group of people really helps to keep yourself motivated.

    • Svet

We need to hear that more often. Motivation should be fuelled regularly! You are very welcome and I look forward to seeing you there 🙂

  8. AuthenticTravels

I’ve been investing in myself for almost 8 years now. But sometimes I just need to slow down and take a break because all the information and everything I read is so overwhelming. Breaks are good to integrate (and practice) what you have learned 🙂

    • Svet

Oh, yes, taking a break from time to time is of utmost importance. That’s why I’d repeat the words of a friend – work smart, not hard 🙂

  9. Reshma

Totally agree with your words! Investment in self is the best investment, because none will invest in us if we don’t do it ourselves. I can completely resonate with your words because I live by these words too! Inspiring.

    • Svet

Thanks very much, dear Reshma! It’s so easy to communicate with like-minded people and to put everything into a bigger perspective 🙂 Have a great day!

  10. Vibeke Johannessen

Such a great post. It is so important to invest in yourself, since you only live once and will just regret it in your last days on this planet. I really try to follow this and work as a travel blogger instead of something I dont like just to earn money. I wish more people lived their life doing what they really want in life. Thank you for this great post 😀 Pinning this for the world to see ;D

    • Svet

Thanks very much, Vibeke! I really don’t understand why some people would spend their nights, watching TV and whatnot… Yeah, once in a while is okay, but not every day.

Thanks again and thanks very much for pinning it! 🙂 Have a lovely Easter!

I bet you enjoyed what you just read! Share what impressed you most.
