When Hung Thai from Up Up and a Bear contacted me around 2 months ago with the idea to join a charitable project, I thought I was excited. Today, May 15th 2016, just one week before the release of the crowdfunding campaign, I am starting to really feel the enthusiasm of all participants.
As one of the ambassadors and editors of the book, I had the immense pleasure to immerse myself into some of the stories. And, let me tell you, this book is not only going to be a one-of-a-kind creation of a bunch of awesome people. It is also going to be a life changer for many.
For me, it certainly has been. I got to know what can only be described as an amazing group of human beings. They all have joined forces to write an incredible mix of personal stories who have changed their lives in one or more ways.
Take Minna, a Canadian of Finnish descent, who has met her life partner during a trip and started a foundation in a Central American country. Astrid went to Togo as a part of her Peace Corps volunteer mission which changed her way of thinking while she was walking a road in the central part of the African country. Medi from Indonesia went on a pilgrimage travel which changed her life forever.
I have just given you three different examples of the book which in 7 days (May 22nd 2016) will be available on Indiegogo. Sign up now not only to receive notifications of the official launch, but to also get a 10% discount.
ReleaseWire also published the announcement on its website.
I can barely sit still thinking about how happy these children would be. I am sure you will agree with me that a child’s sincere smile is the best thing one can ever experience. And while all of us, the participants, have experienced a life-changing trip, how life-changing YOUR donations for this project would be.
Follow our Facebook Page, read more about the project here, and spread the love!
On behalf of the team that has been working on Project Alpha, let me present to you our sincere gratitude.
Humbly yours,
Svet
